ICMR International Fellowship Programme for Biomedical Scientists from Developing Countries

Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), India’s premier national agency for biomedical research, offers an International Fellowship Programme for biomedical scientists from developing countries, enabling short-term training (1–6 months) at leading Indian research institutes in areas such as diagnostics, epidemiology, surveillance, genomics, immunology, and other biomedical research areas. The fellowship covers return economy airfare and a sustenance allowance (for accommodation, food and local transport).

Eligible applicants should be employed in recognized academic or research institutions, preferably below 45 years of age, English proficiency, with qualifications such as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or Master of Science (Life Sciences), Applications may be submitted throughout the year. The completed application forms along with relevant supporting documents may be e-mailed at com.lapaz@mea.gov.in
