Embassy of India is pleased to announce that ASSOCHAM is organizing “AQUABIZ 2026: Conference & Exhibition on Aquaculture, Fisheries & Marine Economy”, scheduled from 6–8 August 2026 in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, under the theme “Powering India’s Blue Economy through Andhra Pradesh.”

As the Aquaculture Capital of India, Andhra Pradesh has emerged as a national leader in shrimp production, freshwater fisheries, seafood exports, and coastal economic development. With a 974 km coastline and a strong ecosystem of hatcheries, feed mills, processing units, and cold chain infrastructure, the state plays a pivotal role in advancing India’s blue economy vision.

AQUABIZ 2026 will bring together policymakers, global seafood buyers, exporters, investors, technology providers, researchers, and industry leaders to explore emerging opportunities and foster strategic collaborations. The event will focus on key themes including export growth and value addition, aquaculture-led rural development, infrastructure and investment opportunities, climate-resilient aquaculture, sustainable shrimp farming, bio-security, and adoption of AI and IoT in fisheries.

The conference and exhibition aims to position Andhra Pradesh as a global hub for aquaculture investment, marine processing, and sustainable export-led growth.
