Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme
The Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Programme, is the leading capacity building platform of the Ministry Of External Affairs, Government of India. Under the program, Indian institutes conduct various training courses, mainly in English language. Through this program, India shares its experience and knowledge in various fields with more than 160 partner countries, whose fellows also have the opportunity to experience firsthand the development of India and its culture. Participating institutes offer various short-, medium-, and long-term courses in the areas of technology, telecommunications, public administration, banking, finance, electoral processes, language, rural development, renewable energy, defense, and other specialized technical courses.
ITEC utilizes a bouquet of varied modalities to meet its mandate of capacity building. The training programmes are available in following formats :
Apart from regular calendar-based training programmes, ITEC also offers customised training programmes which are designed and delivered by the leading institutions in India in response to country-specific requests.
Applicants should be between the age of 25 and 45 years and have at least 5 years of work experience in the relevant field. The eligible applicant may apply for the courses by filling up online application form at https://www.itecgoi.in/index > Apply for ITEC Courses > Upcoming Courses.
Completed online form and relevant documentation are required to be submitted through the esteemed Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Embassy of India, La Paz, in case of Government of Bolivia, or through respective administrative authorities. An advance copy of the same has to be submitted to this Embassy both by email and in hard copy.
